Promotion and Pay Raise

I got promotion at my work place and salary hike too. I was promoted for seniour level. I got salary hike of 16%. I was aware about this but today I recieved this good news in written.
Well, I am not very much happy with the amount as it is very less compared to the performance I have shown but its better than nothing.
Promotion means more responsibilities, more working hours( not directly but have to catch up with many new things so... ).
